Dear Friends, Our new name: www.majesticearth-minerals.com (don't forget the "dash")

One thing I love about Youngevity is the sense of community and the comradery which exists among its members. Each of us has our own individual health and income goals yet at A.L. we need never pursue such goals alone. This has to do in part with the fact that we are an organization built by sponsorship. To order Dr. Wallach's product one must be 'sponsored' or introduced to Dr. Wallach's message, his company and his product by someone who is already 'in,' (a sponsored 'member'), someone who has first hand experience with the product, the company and its mission. Our sales are based on word of mouth, friend telling friend, neighbor telling neighbor and as a consequence we are a tightly knit group. If someone sponsors us they are our 'upline.' If we sponsor someone they are our 'downline.' If someone in our downline sponsors a friend, the friend, too, becomes a part of our downline (as does anyone the friend sponsors, etc. etc.). An A.L. person not in our downline or upline is 'crossline.'

The remarkable thing about Youngevity people, or so I've found, is that it does not matter if you are downline, upline or crossline: We all tend to pull together. When it comes to support, guidance, honest dealing, commitment to service, I have to say, Youngevity is tops. We give each other our full attention: exchange ideas, share experience and in so doing improve the whole.

Last weekend this point was driven home for me when I visited my own upline sponsor and friend, Sheryl Morley, in Phoenix, AZ. Over the years Sheryl has been a great ally to me and a wonderful resource and example. Also in Phoenix, this time, was Dr. Wallach as was Blake Graham and a solid core of local distributors and enthusiasts. Blake lives in Salt Lake City, is crossline to me, yet traveled to Phoenix to treat us all to his well-honed insights on home based business building. Sheryl worked her magic as event organizer. She rounded out our get-togethers by sharing her knowledge of the products and recalling her hands-on experience in helping folks find their way to optimum sustainable health. Sheryl is a people magnet and all around her, there in Phoenix, were her progeny: people to whom she has personally introduced Dr. Wallach's message. A measure of her success is that each of her people had his or her own story to share about their success on the product.

These sorts of get-togethers are what make us strong. They reaffirm our belief in ourselves and in what we are doing and they open new understanding about how we can best serve our needs as well the needs of others. Certainly I came away from Phoenix with a fresh take on 'doing the supplements.' One thing I learned is that we all owe it to ourselves to make this entire experience, our journey to health and wealth, fun and easy. People have fears about the money they are spending on our supplements, about whether or not they will get the results they are after. Some people have a horrible time with actually taking the supplements. The routine just does not work for them and the experience itself is a negative one, full of 'I should have's,' and 'yuck, this tastes bad' and 'ugh, is it that time again?' It is true health and wealth can be their own reward no matter how unpleasant the path, yet if one has to beat oneself up to get there, bear up to negative association, chances are it just won't happen. Sheryl's group puts its emphasis on the journey, on the process, and NOT on the destination or end and, as a consequence, predictably, ironically, Sheryl's group is enormously successful in reaching their goals.

How do they make it fun and easy? First, they have come up with some of the tastiest, most deeply satisfying, phenomenally delicious, nutritional drinks on the planet (using OUR products!!). For example, instead of using the M.E.U. Classic in the standard PIG PACK, folks taking Sheryl's PIG PACK do a combination of the M.E.U. Tangy, the Osteo-CAL, M.E. Minerals (and of course four GlucoGEL twice daily, too) and cold, cold water (sometimes throwing in some Nature's Whey). Try it! The Osteo-CAL makes up handsomely for the calcium you miss when you switch from Classic to Tangy (1200 IU of calcium per ounce in the Osteo-CAL) and enhances the taste and texture of the drink magnificently. Accompanied by the Osteo-CAL and Tangy the M.E. Minerals, too, fit in beautifully. At Sheryl's house, sitting on the back patio, we passed around cup after cup of the drink with the result always the same: a pure taste sensation!

The second thing Sheryl's group has done to make the 'journey' an easy and fun one is to demystify the process. Forget about counting milligrams and micrograms, measuring this and measuring that, worrying about which time of day, being angry with yourself for missing a day, etc. Instead, concentrate on welcoming Dr. Wallach's supplements into your life: embrace them; make them part of who you are and what you do; incorporate them into your routine, not as a duty so much as a fresh and refreshing, delectable pleasure. This is not hard to do especially since we have so many incredible products to choose from.

Take the Sports Tech, for example. Sports Tech is loaded with nutrients, straight from plants, highly absorbable, 77 liquid, organic, bioavailable minerals along with amino acids and vitamins. The people in Sheryl's group make a social occasion of it. They mix up a big pitcher on a hot afternoon diluting it to perfect taste with plenty of super chilled, ice cold water and, instead of losing minerals through the day, they wash their whole system in a constant stream of minerals. Not only is the taste fabulous (adios Gatorade!), the drink satisfies deep seated nutrient needs, needs so deep they are part of our very biology.

Should one be concerned about overdosing? No, not particularly. Unless you made an absolute mission of it, it is HIGHLY unlikely that you could ever put yourself at risk. This according to Dr. Wallach, who chimed in, there, on the back patio. That is the beauty of it. When plants take in minerals from the soil the minerals are altered to suit, to meet our needs, perfectly. They become hydrophillic, water loving, water soluble and as such will not build up in our system. We present our body with the nutrients and if we can't use them or don't need them, we shed them. They wash out automatically. The only time one might consider reducing intake is if one gets diarrhea. Wonderful isn't it? Our own body is our best barometer! In other words, if the minerals start washing out of us at too quick a pace it is time to cut back.

The whole idea that Sheryl and her group have come to embrace is "have at it!" If you are experiencing some musculo skeletal difficulties then do the Pig Pack as described above. If there is some pain or inflammation that just won't go away, or any sort of "itis" you might be suffering from, hit it with CM Plus, on top of the Pig Pack, as hard and as heavy as you like. Some people take in 15 CM Plus capsules a day until the pain and swelling is whipped and then reduce to two or three per day. Problems with weight or fatigue? Then cut out carbohydrates from your diet and load up on our Nature's Whey. Make some delicious shakes combining the Whey and that winning duo of Tangy Tangerine and Osteo CAL. Skin problems or allergies? Then add in the E.F.A. If your serious about emerging the victor in all this the trick is, don't be bashful. In his book "Let's Play Doctor," Doc tells us 5 grams of E.F.A., three times daily.

What we offer is nothing more and nothing less than some of the best nutrition around. These products are not drugs or medicine or 'folk cures.' They are high quality nutritional supplements, the stuff we should be getting from our food yet do not. No one ever died from eating good, nutritious food. So have at it. Dr. Wallach made the point at one of our get-togethers, throwing things, immediately, into perspective in his brazenly honest, no-punches-pulled manner, "Look, two to three hundred thousand people a year die from physician error, mis-prescribed drugs, etc. Not one person, ever, has died from supplementing."

Of course, one wants to exercise common sense. While the liquid minerals are relatively benign there are legitimate concerns about too much of certain vitamins, for example, Vitamin A and Vitamin E. The pill form selenium should be kept to under 500 mcg. per day and with the pill form of vanadium and chromium (Sweet-EZE) pay attention to what Dr. Wallach has to say concerning too rapid a drop in blood sugar levels at too high a dosage. So, besides the GlucoGEL and CM Plus and EFA (no problems with these) exercise restraint when it comes to the pills. Always wise to follow directions on the bottle. Since the Classic is SO rich in vitamins do not go overboard with it, either. Actually the magnesium in the Classic will give you diarrhea long before you go too far. Our own bodies can be a great help to us in keeping us safe. Dr. Wallach says again and again, for example, "Vitamin C to bowel tolerance." Use common sense, trust to your body, but most of all make the whole experience a fun and joyous one.

We can all stand tall when it comes to the quality of our products and how important they are, how vital they are in protecting and reclaiming health. All living things seem to thrive, seem to flourish given sufficient access to what we have to offer. I recall a woman in my downline, Jodie is her name. She preferred taking the Minerals and the Classic straight up, each morning. After supplementing she would routinely rinse out her cup and toss the rinse water on a houseplant near her kitchen window. Four months or so into it and the plant started taking off, putting out bloom after bloom of gorgeous flowers and producing flowers, even during times in the year when, previously, it never had.

Out on Sheryl's back patio I spoke to a woman, relatively young, early thirties, who had been diagnosed with Lupus at age eighteen. Until she met Sheryl and started saturating with the product, bathing her system: Pig Pack shakes morning and night; Sports Tech throughout the day; extra CM Plus, if she needed it for pain; lots of GlucoGEL and E.F.A., Jennifer ground through each day in a sort of half alive state. For years she was wracked by constant infections, out of control allergies, arthritis in her knees and profound, unforgiving fatigue. Our stuff along with Sheryl's support brought Jenny back to the land of the living. Since January, she told me, she has been loving her life: tons of energy, purpose, clarity, Lupus completely annihilated, no more infections (bladder had been the worst, she said), no more allergies. When I spoke to her, six months post January (i.e. June), I witnessed the truth of what she was saying: bright eyes, clear skin, a woman flushed with energy, profoundly alive, in full bloom, just like the houseplant.

But what about expense? Jennifer spends $200 to $300 per month on product. For many the prospect of spending that much catches them short, steals their breath, puts a stranglehold of fear and foreboding on them. My gosh, "Where am I going to find that kind of money," they ask. The people in Sheryl's group are not worried about it. Jennifer's pockets are no deeper than most of ours. Yet what she experienced in the context of Sheryl's group is a shift in orientation which saw her through her money fears and, thereby, allowed her, ultimately to achieve the health she currently enjoys. The fact is, everything falls into place once you accept the supplements into your life not as a "I must" or "I should" or "I had better" or "If I don't...' but as a "Yes! Bring them on!. My reward to myself. What I LOVE to do." Often, the shift in orientation I describe, here, can be as straight forward as a simple substitution.

Ask yourself, for example, how do you 'reward' yourself right now? Eat out a bunch? Frequent the local Ice Cream Parlor? Maybe you and your wife shuffle out late afternoon to your favorite coffee house. You buy a paper, purchase that special pastry that seems to call to you and some fancy dessert coffee with all the lovely sounding Italian syllables attached. No denying it: the experience is a fun one. It is a blast. Soon, you find yourself doing it three, four or five times a week. But have you ever added up the expense? The Grande Mocha Machiato, the pastry, the paper, times two and then times three or four (per week) and times 4.3 (per month). You are easily spending $200 to $300 per month! The thing Sheryl and her group have discovered is that you can drop the coffee habit and substitute the supplement habit without sacrificing the pleasure. Instead of the coffee and pastry substitute our intensely delicious and deeply satisfying nutritional drinks. And the odd thing is, the really bizarre and fantastic thing is, make the switch and, once the minerals take hold, you will never look back. Why? Because our minerals, our nutrients knock out one's craving for sugary, sweet, high calory, non-foods. Meet your body's nutritional requirements and you will be thrilled to notice: no more cravings.

Once you accept the supplements into your life, chances are you will stop buying 'food in a box,' processed food, take out food and, here again, substantial savings are harvested. Sheryl has made supplementing fun. Everyone in her group supports one other. Another point many make concerning expense is "Hey (paraphrase), not only is supplementing a point of pleasure in my routine, a way I reward myself, the long term health benefits I realize give me the strength and resolve and stamina and ambition I need to be more productive at work: I make more money!" So it all works out. The biggest step is the first step, embrace the supplements.

For people stuck in a dead end job in which increased productivity is not necessarily rewarded or for people on fixed incomes (or for anyone, for that matter) Youngevity offers its own answer to worries about product expense. On this subject Sheryl's people are certainly living the reality but Blake, a guest at the Phoenix retreat, is the expert, the professor of successful, Youngevity financial strategy. I would convey what Blake shared with us on this topic but this newsletter is too long already so please stay tuned for the next.

Best of Health to All of You,
Sincerely, Stu Hunt Don Ellis
