Dear Friends, www.drwallachsminerals.com
For most of us in relatively good health, supplementing is just one of those common sense duties we perform, regularly, like changing the oil in our car or washing up after dinner. We don't want dangerous bacteria to set up shop in our kitchens, we want our expensive cars to function repair free for hundreds of thousands of miles and we, ourselves, want to live long and illness-free lives. So we do what needs to be done: we clean the kitchen, change the oil and supplement.
The immediate effect of any of these, very ordinary, tasks, is seldom spectacular. After changing the oil in our car, for example, our car does not, suddenly, double its acceleration capacity. And, for most of us, the same goes for supplementing. Tossing down a few vitamins and minerals won't transform us, overnight, into a Magic Johnson. What supplementing does do, however, is keep us in the game for the long haul.
In our push button society people are programmed to gauge value by immediate positive feed back or gratification. We throw money at something and then we ask, "How much pleasure is this going to give me in the next five minutes," or "How many problems will this solve, today?" If the answer is zero, we move on, we give up, we watch the next ad. With supplementing, as with changing the oil in our car, the "pay off" is seldom immediate, in yet, the value of such a habit is, undeniably, very much there.
Perhaps the easiest way to understand or gauge the value is to flip it around and ask, "What happens if I don't?" Here the answer is pretty obvious. Just look around. Look at all the people who could care less about their diet and who don't supplement at all. If they are young, they might be able to get away with it, for a time. After all, our bodies are very resilient. They can take a lot of abuse. But deprive yourself of any of the 90 essential nutrients and, over time, it is just a fact that degenerative deficiency disease of one sort or another will result: arthritis; cardiovascular disease; allergies; hypertension; osteoporosis; diabetes; etc. Do the immediate gratification routine of fast food restaurants, processed food, zero supplementation and you will, within time, look and feel like warmed over death.
How many of you have seen the film "Super-Size Me?" What a graphic example of what I am talking about! Here a man at the absolute peak of health first documents his good health by having an entire battery of tests performed on him by well-respected doctors, doctors at the top of their field. Then he eats nothing but McDonald's morning, noon, and night for 30 days. Before he begins the experiment he tells his internist the plan. Right on camera the specialist, the internal medicine specialist predicts that nothing much will happen. The doctor says, (paraphrase) "Your cholesterol will go up a little, your blood pressure, maybe, your triglycerides, but you will be fine. You will be able to handle it." Then, at day 20 or so during the experiment tests are run and the doctor, again on camera, is shocked. He just can't believe what he is seeing. The liver is giving out. Liver enzyme count is out of control. The doctor says (paraphrase) "I'd expect to see this if you had been drinking a quart of whiskey every day and living on nothing else. It seems the toxins, the fat, the sugar, the preservatives, the cooking oil is overwhelming your liver. You need to stop." In 30 days the subject of the experiment gained twenty five pounds, put himself at risk for liver failure and ruined his cardiovascular healthjust by eating McDonalds!
Twenty percent of the US population is clinically obese. Go out on the street and you will spot, in every ten people, probably one of them. The other half stay home because they are either too embarrassed to go out in public or they are physically unable to. When we follow the path of least resistance, when we neglect our diet, when we forgo a supplement plan, when we content ourselves with immediate gratification, we put ourselves in peril. Diabetes, heart disease, musculo-skeletal complaints are on a rampage, now. And they are all preventable!
I bought a Toyota pickup, brand new, in 1979. It has 340,000 miles on it. That's all the way to the moon and most of the way back. It still runs like a top. Why? Because, from the word go I used the best oil and oil filter on it and I changed the oil, without fail, every 5,000 miles. People will do that for their cars. It is shocking, to me, the reluctance folks show toward doing the same sort common sense, advance planning concerning their own health and longevity. It is pretty simple really. Just take in high quality supplements, every day, all 90 of the nutrients essential to human health, eat right and stay away from the obvious stressors (toxins, emotional stress, lack of sleep, drugging and drinking, etc.).
Although the "pay off" from supplementing is seldom immediate don't ever underestimate the power, the potency, the efficacy of Dr. Wallach's supplements. I'll close with an account that just came in the other day. Here the pay off was immediate. A gentleman from California called. His name is "Dick." He has a friend who has been going through radiation and having a really rough time of it. Basically the treatments had weakened his bones turning his pelvis practically into powder. Dick gave his friend a bottle of our calcium / bone mineral supplement, OsteoFx. His friend took an ounce every day for one month. Then he went in to see his doctor. Xray and bone density test showed major improvement. So much so, in fact, that his doctor was flabbergasted, saying he had "never seen a recovery like this before."
The value and power of Dr. Wallach's supplements can be gauged both by looking around, noticing what happens when we neglect them and, secondly, accounts such as the one above. When a person is severely deficient and you give them the nutrients they need in an ideal form, the form the body is designed to recognize and use, wonderful things can happen and happen very quickly.
All things considered our lives are so short. We all know the experience of living can be pure magic when our minds are clear and fully engaged, when our body is strong and vigorous and flush with energy. Life can also seem very cruel, painful and dark. What a gift Dick gave his friend: just one little bottle of OsteoFx. But it wasn't just that. It was literally the gift of life! We can all be givers of life, givers of the best life has to offer. Let's keep our eyes open and tune into folks all around us who have neglected to change their oil, to folks who are hurting, to folks who are not getting the most from their marvelous, awesome, miraculous bodies. They are all around us. Let's lend them a hand, give them a Dr. Wallach tape, give them a bottle of OsteoFx, if they need one, and invite them back into the fold.
Best of Health,
Stu Hunt
